The beginning
Perpétua, Pereira & Almeida, Lda (PPA) was founded in January 2013 by Elsa Almeida, Jorge Horta and Fernando Perpétua. The partners continued the activity started in 1981 by Cerâmicas S. Bernardo that was going through an insolvency process at that time. That fact link us to the art of ceramics for more than 35 years. Their courage and determination made it possible to maintain the jobs that would disappear and also to continue the S. Bernardo brand acquired by the company and being used today as its commercial name

Also all the distinctions of SME Leader and SME Excellence that we have been receiving since the establishment of the company.
Our future
S. Bernardo sees the future with optimism and will reinforce its commitment to:
Internationalization with the consolidation and opening of new markets;
Investment in upgrading equipment and the manufacturing unit in order to increase its productivity, adopting the premise of producing more and wasting less.
Passion for the home since 1930
Starting from a small artisan workshop in the heart of Bologna, Umberto Mascagni managed to revolutionize the idea of the picture frame thanks to the intuition of a new product, the iconic Lumaghèn (Snail). Consisting only of a metal base and a pair of glasses, the new frame places the image at the center of everything, freeing it from the usual frame to give it relevance through the transparency of the glass alone. Umberto's inventiveness and tenacity were rewarded in a few years, so much so that Mascagni became the leading manufacturer of photo frames in Europe in the 1960s, under the care of his son Mario and his wife Nella. The company, now directed by Michele Mascagni, has transformed into a modern reality with a strong propensity for innovation. It makes use of the collaboration of internal and external designers and sells all over the world through a capillary network of specialized distributors. Mascagni has its headquarters in Casalecchio di Reno and a large warehouse in Castel San Pietro Terme, from which over 15,000 shipments depart every year for over 4,000 customers worldwide. He exhibits at the major world fairs of the sector: Homi in Milan, Maison&Objet in Paris, Ambiente in Frankfurt.A constant search to create exclusive products
At the basis of the proposal, a careful and skilful attention to detail, a constant research on themes, materials, finishes, colors, to create unique and exclusive products. The articles are renewed on the basis of designs created by an in-house artistic design team and external designers.
The proposal is rich, starting from the photo frame, the product from which the company was born and which identifies it on the market. Photo frames but not only: over the years the collection has expanded its range of products to include home and gift accessories, exclusively designed furnishing accessories, wedding favor ideas.
Since 2006 it has also given space to new ideas in the furniture and interior decoration sector with the ONE line. This collection is part of a home decoration concept that involves objects that evoke distant eras and trendy designs, details that reveal style, scented candles that decorate rooms, light that designs environments.
A Made in Italy Story of Men, Cooperation, Craftsmanship and Innovation
IVV is one of the main and very few remaining glassworks that still produce in Italy. The company was founded in 1952 as a Workers' Cooperative. Since 1952 it has combined research on materials, creativity and design with artisan tradition, advanced production techniques and process control. The link with the territory - Tuscany and Florence - is very strong, with its heritage of culture and traditions, which has always been a source of inspiration for IVV's creativity. Since 1952 the company has grown rapidly, and today it has 60 employees working in a factory of over 7,500 square meters. It is present in over 70 countries and its products, standard and bespoke, are chosen by the main players in the RETAIL, HORECA and B2B sectors.
IVV has indelibly marked the history of design
with iconic products, which anticipated trends and fashions: from the 1950s to the 1990s, thanks to the industrial scale given to its production activity, it was a precursor in making blown-glass products for the table and buffet and for home furnishing accessible to an increasingly larger market, until then accessible to a few because expression of a pure elite craftsmanship. This path has been completed without ever ceasing to express his personal creativity - treasuring the heritage represented by his glass masters – lowering the quality, still today the flagship of IVV products: from the transparency and brilliance of its glass, to the color given in the mass of the glasses (so important not only for the health of users, but also for issues related to maintenance in hotels and restaurants).OUR STORY

The business has links to a company that was first established in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham in 1919, and has therefore been influenced by the expertise and craftsmanship of the fine English Silversmiths operating there. Their skills and designs which have been passed down through generations, provide the basis for many of our traditional manufactured products.
Manufacturing has been taking place on the present factory site in Wednesbury for over 55 years, and many of its experienced workforce has in excess of 35 years service.
We continue to produce fine quality silver plate at an affordable price and combined with our special tarnish resistant coating the finished article is easy to look after, as it never needs polishing.
Queen Anne is proud to be the only major silver plating company left in the U.K. that can say its products are still “Made in England”
