A Made in Italy Story of Men, Cooperation, Craftsmanship and Innovation
IVV is one of the main and very few remaining glassworks that still produce in Italy. The company was founded in 1952 as a Workers' Cooperative. Since 1952 it has combined research on materials, creativity and design with artisan tradition, advanced production techniques and process control. The link with the territory - Tuscany and Florence - is very strong, with its heritage of culture and traditions, which has always been a source of inspiration for IVV's creativity.
Since 1952 the company has grown rapidly, and today it has 60 employees working in a factory of over 7,500 square meters. It is present in over 70 countries and its products, standard and bespoke, are chosen by the main players in the RETAIL, HORECA and B2B sectors.
IVV has indelibly marked the history of design
with iconic products, which anticipated trends and fashions: from the 1950s to the 1990s, thanks to the industrial scale given to its production activity, it was a precursor in making blown-glass products for the table and buffet and for home furnishing accessible to an increasingly larger market, until then accessible to a few because expression of a pure elite craftsmanship.
This path has been completed without ever ceasing to express his personal creativity - treasuring the heritage represented by his glass masters – lowering the quality, still today the flagship of IVV products: from the transparency and brilliance of its glass, to the color given in the mass of the glasses (so important not only for the health of users, but also for issues related to maintenance in hotels and restaurants).
